The town of DuPont is made up of many smaller “villages” or neighborhoods, each with their own unique style and character. DuPont real estate ranges from cozy cottages and sprawling ranches, to chic condominiums and classic two-story homes.  Hoffman Hill is the area’s largest neighborhoods, housing over half of the town population. The town of DuPont embraces its history, as well as its future. The community was one of the first areas settled in Washington State. DuPont’s history dates back over 5,000 years, to when the Sequalitchew-Nisqually Indians inhabited the area. In 1972, British Captain George Vancouver discovered and mapped the area, sparking growth in the region. In 1833, the Hudson Bay Company set up a trading post at Fort Nisqually, bringing together Native Americans, British, French, and Americans in the area.

Despite its long history, the town of DuPont was not officially incorporated until 1912, and then re-incorporated in 1951. Since then DuPont real estate has grown and evolved, recently undergoing a modern transformation, with the addition of pre-planned communities.  As DuPont continues to grow, the community has embraced new businesses, welcoming notable companies such as Amazon, Intel, State Farm, and the Pacific Northwest Golf Association. The town is a great place to grow a family or a business.
